Theatre season at the Teatro Fassino 2026/2027

Five stories about humanity, five perspectives on the world and those who inhabit it, caught between light and darkness.

Amidst unanswered questions and attempts at understanding, an analysis of contemporary reality explored through these stories.

The new season at the Fassino Theatre in Avigliana – organised for the ninth consecutive year by the Revejo Association in collaboration with the Piemonte dal Vivo Foundation and the City of Avigliana – is all of this.

Between December 2026 and April 2027, with a preview on 20 November, the theatre of the City of Lakes reopens its doors and tells the stories of human beings – without false hopes, yet without sinking into despair – with flashes of irony, bursts of poetry and the conviction that a fundamental faculty is not only the ability to tell stories, but above all the ability to understand and recognise oneself in the stories of others.

When this ability is lost, the contemporary age seems to suggest, humanity takes a step backwards. Theatre, therefore, remains a fundamental instrument of humanity.
