Educational days at the Primo Levi Public Library

Following the summer break, the Primo Levi Library in Avigliana is reopening its doors to activities aimed at families, children and enthusiasts.
As part of the ‘Community Education Day’ project, September promises to be packed with unmissable events, all of which are completely free to attend.

Friday 11 September (5.00 pm – 6.30 pm) – Origami Workshop
A creative afternoon for adults and children aged 6 and over, led by expert Elena Clementi. Participants will have the chance to discover the ancient and fascinating art of folding paper to create wonderful figures. Booking is essential by calling 011 97 69 180.

Friday 18 September (5.00 pm – 6.30 pm) – Sound Stories: Music Education and Music Therapy
A special programme designed for children aged 7 to 10, led by Sabrina Carbonara (a qualified music educator under the Goitre System and a music therapist specialising in harp therapy). Through sound and musical stimuli, the little ones will be able to explore their creativity and expressive abilities in a fun and relaxing way.

Friday 25 September (4.30 pm – 6.30 pm) – Chess Activities
An event open to all ages, perfect for both adults and children. The activity is organised by the Libero Torneificio del Borgo and will provide a space for free play and interaction, both for chess enthusiasts and complete beginners, who will be able to take their first steps on the chessboard with the help of an expert facilitator.
