Bicistaffetta for the 31st UN Climate Change Conference

At a time when the effects of climate change are being felt more and more, Avigliana is hosting a stage of the COP31 Bike Ride, the cycle relay for the UN Climate Change Conference.
The Susa Valley will be crossed by a group of cyclists who, travelling by bike and sailing boat, set off from Brazil – where COP30 was held – and will cross northern Italy before heading south to reach Turkey in November.
The Bike Ride will stop in Piazza Conte Rosso from approximately 9.30 am to 10.30 am for an event to share information and raise awareness about environmental issues.
Everyone is invited to take part to show their support for this delegation and, for those who fancy a bit of cycling, to join the relay for a few kilometres!
