ART, THE LOCAL AREA AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH WILDLIFE

Two days featuring artists at work and reflections on ecology and spirituality.

The initiative forms part of the celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis of Assisi. The weekend will offer a unique forum for discussion thanks to the seminar ‘Forest animals and our relationship with the wild’, which will feature experts, naturalists and anthropologists such as Luca Giunti and Adriano Favole, as well as a closing address by Luigi Ciotti, president of Casacomune.

In the Certosa park, visitors will be able to meet sculptors and woodcrafters (including Barba Brisiu, Luca Germena, Felice Rosa Marin and the woodcarving schools of Bussoleno and Melezet) whilst they create their works.

Educational walks and creative workshops entirely dedicated to children, guided tours along the Ma.Ga Trail and exhibition spaces showcasing local handicrafts.
