A dinner for Gaza: flavours, stories and solidarity

On our own, we are as fragile as butterfly wings, but together – strong and united – we can unleash a storm.

We cannot remain indifferent. From an idea that sprang to mind in an instant, a flower within a heart and a single word: Gaza.

This has given rise to an evening spent together, sharing flavours and doing, in our own small way, something tangible.

La Ciclocucina in Avigliana is hosting Fadi, a Palestinian chef who arrived in Italy about a year ago with his wife and three children: he will be bringing the flavours of his homeland to the table through a dinner dedicated to Middle Eastern and Gazan cuisine. He will be joined by a Syrian friend and La Ciclocucina’s chef.

The evening will feature an interview with Fadi conducted by Alp King, to learn more about his story and the cuisine he will be serving, as well as a DJ set to keep the evening going after dinner.
Part of the proceeds from the evening will go to Fadi and his family.
